I know the upgrade has recently given us tags but its already gone down hill. In this thread:

The tags are down right just bad. The tag system is not even an hour old and its already been abused. I don't know what's going on exactly, but I doubt this sort of thing is the stuff we wanted to see, especially as I can see the tags beside the thread name in II.

It's over now, as this feature was already disabled. It was a case of "I can tag for Lulz and remain anonymous", even though this anonymity wasn't real, but that is what features that give an illusion of anonymity lead to in the Internet.

I never saw the feature and didn't have the power to affect it in any event. Jolt admins run the forum features, and they don't let us play with their toys.

Indeed, I saw some for this thread. I merely wanted to bring it to the Mods attention, just to let them know. I know that, Euroslavia, you may not have been able to have done anything since it was Jolt's toy. But its gone now and that solves the situation.

Or maybe, if this feature had a script that whenever you hovered the mouse over the tag, the name of its author would appear, then this wouldn't happen, although maybe even with such ID'ing of the tag authors it would be not worth the trouble.
