Could be trolling, could be flamebaiting
Could be UB just being UB.
But given that he just got over a ban for calling Mormons morons, calling every Theist insane could be a poor choice of words.

Mods only please.
I have a honest to God related question, and didn't want to make a new thread, so sorry for breaking the mod only rule.
But the bit about "UB being UB"; is that a valid excuse for letting him have free reign to make all those trollish comments in the past, and continues to do so in EVERY religious thread? I would think that after being warned time after time, and getting punished with other things, he would learn that "UB being UB" is not acceptable, and pushes the limits on the rules.
And I would like to up keep the mod only rule on this. We don't want everyone and their mother piping in their two cents.

Indeed it is not a valid excuse for the inexcusable. Nobody gets special treatment. (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13772086&postcount=291)

Er, not for nothing, but a good 2 hours after you posted that, there's this (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13772280&postcount=293).
And not to say what you SHOULD do, but I read that as you intended to delete the nation, and if so I think you...well...missed.

UB is gone for good, then?

Well, he was deleted by a Mod. Can't say if he's DOS, though. Then again, you don't generally get DOS unless you repeatedly spam Goatse/Tubgirl/2G1C or advocate AIDS-infected rape.

Forgive me for posting here, but I do have a question for the mods. It's about this topic; the grounds on which UB was deleted. Personally I don't care as he probably had it coming, but I am concerned because I have strong atheist views and I have on the forums posted comments about religion.
Your ruling against UB doesn't prevent those of us who stayed within the rules even if we professed to unpopular views from posting that we think religion is bs?

90% of the people here think religion is bs, thinking that all religious people are mentally ill is a totally different matter.

It's all in the presentation.
"I don't agree with you because I see no evidence that this is true; additionally I have experienced discrimination in this this and this way which makes me not like group x"
is worlds away from calling someone a moron, a retard, mentally ill, an asshole, et cetera.

I take offense to your first "fact", but agree with your second statement.
All I hope now is that the next time someone posts that NS is an "oppressive, liberal, antireligious forum" or some other such nonsense, that this particular incident is called up to refute such baseless charges.
