I hope there is no problem in playing the advocate here.
First, because that thread is like a homing beacon for Past Tech roleplayers, a sort of hub for the few who delve into such little explored facet of NationStates roleplaying. And second, because of the motivations behind it.
Someone have hopes of bringing back the former times of when Past Tech RPing was more than just a myth, that is all about that. If it is needed to "gravedig" an old thread with an actually useful post for PT RPing to be brought back to life, so be it. Equally, whenever someone do something with no malicious intentions, hoping for a return to the "old days" and receives a seriously negative reaction and accusation, sometimes one can lose his patience, and make unnecessarily aggressive comments in reply to the accuser. I ask you only to consider all the facts behind the event, and not only the event, before making a judgment.
The fact whether something is a grave dig or not should be judged based on its usefulness and relevance, and not through purely normative means. At least it has been useful for me to find another PT NS I wasn't aware of, and might still be useful to gather the remaining Past-tech roleplayers together.

The problem is that people start posting to long-gone players. Why not start a new thread linking to the old one?
