Tsaraine has warned Questers in-thread, so the matter might seem settled.

Questers, however, should be specifically warned for vandalizing WikiPedia, and using the name Nation States in the process. Really not funny, Q.

I was thinking more "bringing NS into disrepute" since the WikiP "article" reads like this:

Andaras is a nation in Nation States run by a Josef Stalin apologist.

And when Questers posted a link to a page they'd vandalized themselves (well, very likely anyway) on NSG, doesn't that make it your business? It's like any inappropriate link.

EDIT: Thanks for consideration of that Tsar. People who vandalize (or in this case, Rick Roll) WikiPedia get me steamed up, it seems more serious than posters calling each other morons. But it's neither your problem, nor relevant to Andaras' complaint.

This may be a case of NS needing to say "Look, you want to vandalise other website? That really isn't our business. But do not link to you "exploits' from here".

Its a hairy one, so I'd be interested to see what the mods thinks.

"Bringing NationStates into disrepute" would be things like flooding the forums with Stormfront members so people think we're a facist oasis. A single player vandalising a Wikipedia page hardly counts (of course, that's not permission to start spamming up Wikipedia en masse). Naturally vandalising Wikipedia is a bad thing; but the fact remains that it is entirely outside our jurisdiction to punish people for it.

I must say i disagree as that marxist article had nothing to do with what was being discussed really.. as a Brit nothing marxist bares any resemblence to the chave mentality as it stands at this moment in time. I don't know Questers but, at the end of the day, i feel Andaras and the mod have over reacted.

meh, nothing personal Andaras, i just agreed with Questers. if i get a warning/temp forum ban, I'll take it as it is meant and be more careful next time. I thank you though for brining it up in here and not having a go at me in the thread. you obviously have a level of maturity so.

Sorry, just to clarify that your link to the marxist article is actually not a chav! Under that desription. i'm a chav which is so far from the current truth its unbelievable!

It is Also for the fact that the original article linked to by Andaras that Questers post is relevant both as a counter argument and as a statement. If Andaras quoted that article a a debate about chabs in this country he would be called by the name Questers used and laughed off the stage wiuth no rebuttle needed!

I'm inclined to view that one as less actionable, although of course it would be much better if you had considered the possible ramifications before you posted it. There's a difference in delivery between "You're a moron!" and "Actually, under the circumstances I think that's a valid label".

Now can we please get beyond all this ad hominem stuff?
