Fozcria is a newb that's begging to be put in his place and I think we're being reasonable in how we deal with it... even if means the spreading of propaganda. :)

My God... flaming in moderation, two posts below a moderator's post, on a forum that moderators frequent. You might want to re-examine your temper. Yes, I get pissed off at some people, but moderation isn't the smartest place to flame.
There are a lot of nations that are ICly very hostile to commies (Doom comes to mind) and nobody calls them n00bs.

Kryozerkia, please consider the effect your pronouncements may have on the subjects of said pronouncements. If (purely for the sake of illustrating the point) I were to say "Kryozerkia is an monumental retard who justly deserves to be beaten about the head with a lead-weighted rubber chicken" I am fairly certain that you would not appreciate it.
Fozcria, there is a minimum level of politeness necessary to conversation on the NationStates boards. You should be aware that that is not it. Please read this (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=416023) for our List Of Quite Firm Guidelines On Forum Conduct. I appreciate that you have recently joined us, and I shall refrain from issuing a formal warning right now - but any further instances of flaming will merit an official demerit, and you only get three of those before it's back to the nation creation page.

Not that I have a problem with what you've said, I just wish to nitpick on something, or rather politely disagree. I had actually in one of the threads directly used propaganda; a comment meant to be written as a RP comment that came out badly. I hoped one or two people who had read it would realise I was being snide about an RP action.
I guess it's a matter of interpretation.

Apologies if I was unclear; my statement was meant in reference to the first part of your first post in this thread. I'm not about to say your government can't spread propoganda ICly.

Ok, I gotcha. I was just being snide in that post. No harm, no foul? :)

Nice 2nd post following your ban. Since you don't seem to have the ability to be civil even after a 2 day timeout, we'll try 7 days. If you come back with more of the same, it'll become permanent.

I'd at this juncture like to suggest some expanded guidelines on how to treat newbies. The usual response to first posts that are poorly RPed is not links to stickies and advice, but spam, stupid image macros, and god modding, none of which sets a good example to new people or to anyone else.

It's a good idea, but where do we stop? Loading up the forums with stickies doesn't help, because the people who would most benefit from them don't read them.
You and other reasonable people learnt how to treat newbies without any expanded guidelines. It was evidently no stretch for you to use common sense and basic good manners, and to contribute to the forums operating as a friendly community.
These options are still available to all players. Some, obviously, don't take 'em.
I'd suggest you keep on doing what you're doing, helping others; that other players of similar goodwill do the same; and that you help the mods help you by reporting idiocy as soon as you can (which most people already do; thank you).

Yes! Keep doing what you're doing.

Not always. I read the stickies! Remember, you see the failures but not the successes.
