Honestly, I don't understand what the problem is with KoL calling people on being evil. Should Knights of Liberty have to maintain a civil tone with people calling for the rape of women, for example?

I think Heroic Sociopath should be dealt with then, his flag is the SS lightning strike and every post he's made is purely intended to offend.

I would draw a difference between calling people on being evil, and calling for their death. Similarly between saying you think they're wrong and insulting them. One is debate and discussion, the other is just crude and pointless.
"Civility is being able to talk politely to your worst enemy, without resorting to insults and threats." I have a lot more respect for someone who I disagree with and is civil about it, than someone who I often agree with, but is rude and insulting.
