Edit: Alright, scratch the below. I have been touched by a butterfly.
Hiya.
Could one of you be a love and delete the "C&M Votes 2008" thread in NationStates? I hadn't realised quite how much there was to go up, and probably ought to get a BlueWiki or something rather than spam the forums.
Thnx.

Sad to see it go. We need more threads like that on NationStates.

Yuh think?
*pauses thoughtfully*
Perhaps I have been too hasty?
*jumps around waving hands camply*
I mean, if nobody minds me using that thread as a large, personal webpage..?

I see it more as what you said it was: the election thread. You have a large number of candidates, they are well thought out and not 2-dimensional like some (and some real life ones either). Before off-site boards and Wikis, this was the norm on NationStates. There are sports threads, news threads, and yes, election threads throughout. All of them could be on a separate web page...or they could just be threads.

Alright, you've sold me. My conscience has been salved.
I'll now formally donate this thread for deletion. :D

Not deleting, because it gives me a chance to orate:
Mods adore it when you toss us a link or two to play with.
Here's (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/misc.php?do=bbcode) a link to Jolt's explanation of how to do all manner of spiffy things (such as inserting links) with your posts.
Next time, you too can make a mod happy! (We're just a bunch of lovable big-eyed puppies, really.)
