AFAIK telling another poster to "FUCK OFF" is a flame...

As far as i'm aware, interpreting someones post and taking it way out of context in such a way as to rile them up is flame baiting as I understand it. Flame baiting and flaming are one in the same.
However, I'll take whatever punishment is due.
Luckily, said post above already contains the 'flame bait' as I saw it and a few posts above it show my initial posting and how said quote is not what I said or intended.

Being slightly snide and disagreeing with your position does not automatically become flamebait. Your direct attack on the player is the textbook definition of flaming.
Looking at several of your posts, it seems you have a bit of a temper and language problem when responding. If you don't figure out how to control that aspect of your forum life, your time here will be short.
For now, I'm counting on a "Knock it off" to suffice. Don't prove me wrong.

On further reading, I find repeated statements like "You, sir, are a fool" and "You sir, are an ass". That's attacking the poster, not the argument, and you're way out of control.
I advise you to walk away from the computer for a while, or at least that thread. Continue, and we'll have to enforce your absence.

Point noted. I shall absent myself from the thread. Shall I consider that an official warning?
