One was started by me and the other by Barringtonia?
Do I win anything cool?

What's the difference that I should care about as a Moderator?

No 1 is about faith (Jesus + faith -> heaven?).
No 2 is about works (emulating good guys -> heaven?).
No 1's poll is Christianity-based.
No 2 's poll is multifaith verging on (possibly) humanism, or maybe humanitarianism.
Both keep getting wandering, in typical NSG religious thread fashion, into discussions of what heaven is, why would you want it and does it even exist, anyway.
If this is supposed to be a query about whether they should be merged, sounds like a reasonable idea. Done.
If it's a query about what I, personally, think about how to get to heaven, I think it has a great deal to do with strawberry cheesecake.
EDIT: Oh, damn. Sorry, HotRod. You weren't here last time I looked.

Yeah, sorry for being a little vague, my point was that there was no difference and that they should be merged - I could have been clearer.
I just wasn't.

Actually, the difference is that by deleting most of the choices in my poll and tacking it onto a poll where many people already voted, you made a sensible thread utterly meaningless. Good job.

I'm sorry about your poll, South Lorenya. It's a technical thing. When two threads with polls are joined, only one poll survives. Since the other thread was the one yours was merged into, its poll dominates.
If you check the first post in the merged thread, you'll see I preserved the options of your original poll, unfortunately as read-only. The new thread didn't allow enough poll options to put all your choices up again, so I tried to preserve the most significant ones.
If you wish, I'll remove them, too. I agree, they're a sadly botched version of the original.
If you can think of a way to post your question that won't devolve into yet another discussion of heaven, you're welcome to start another thread. Perhaps you could pose some moral dichotomy between emulating the actions of (respected person) and worshipping (recognised as holy) person.
