Good Grief! Trolling! And Hijack To Boot!

Intestinal fluids is griefing and hijacking my thread, while trolling everyone involved. It was supposed to be a collection of pictures of NS member's body art. Now, because of Intestinal fluids, it has become a argument riddled with insults.

Intestinal fluids starts by insulting everyone with a tattoo's intelligence with his cutesy "statistics" (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13585120&postcount=2). I told him to "move on." (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13585171&postcount=21) Others told him to knock off the ignorance as well (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13585236&postcount=41), but instead he continues with trying to force his opinion on every other single poster in the thread, beating a dead horse all the while. Often, he slips into ridiculousness (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13585261&postcount=44), assuming someone is a troll because of their high post count. People in the thread are now having to deal with him, instead of the original topic (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13585280&postcount=45). Even when asked to continue many times, he keeps on, and other posters have to spend their time dealing with his ignorance instead of the real topic. (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13585301&postcount=48)

It's just tiresome, modsquad. The topic of the thread was not "what are your views on people with tattoos." It was "show me pics of your tattoos." Not every single thread in that damned forum needs to be a debate. Intestinal fluids trolled my thread after he was kindly asked to leave, griefed everyone there, and ended up hijacking it in its entirety. The pictures have stopped being posted; his tired griefing should as well.

Flaming now, in the same thread, though not by IF.

Temporarily addressed (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13586070&postcount=100). Other mods may have time to deal with it in more detail.

Okay, cat/vet issues resolved (why do they always do things on a Sunday?):

Intestinal Fluids did hijack the topic, as Kat pointed out; but she saw no need for further action on that, and nor do I (especially as the OP then contributes to yet another of General's endemic sex-related topic meanderings).

So, IF, while you were chided recently (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13576411&postcount=773) for ad hominem, and now you're flamebaiting (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13585362&postcount=61), frankly, I'd feel silly banning you on the strength of that one example. However, do remember that small annoyances swiftly add up to big ones -- ie, pull yer head in, mate!

Steel Butterfly, it's worth remembering that the strict ownership of the thread by the OP that is common in the RP forums does not apply in General. Once you put the subject out there, it's open to all comers, and an overly aggressive defence of your original trend merely alienates others unnecessarily.

But the twist that IF has given it is clearly another topic altogether, so I'll make it a new thread and yours can, hopefully, get back on track. [EDIT: It's here (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=553550).)

All, please note that comments, favourable or unfavourable, on the tattoos themselves are legit, but comments on the tattoo-ee aren't.

Sunday is the lord's day. The cat is surely a satanic animal. :p

I apologize for that part of my argument. I'm not used to dealing with these things in General. I was more worried about the trolling and, as you said, the "tattoo-ee" was being insulted. Thanks for the quick decision. Take care.
