It's not a real-life RP. There are echoes of RL -- an Easter rebellion on a Catholic island -- but it's plainly not the same, especially given the involvement of other NS nations with no RL equivalents. Equally, it's not an American colonisation RL thread just because Miles Standish plays a role.
Far from being "disgraceful", it's coming along as a nicely crafted roleplay. Note the emphasis.
