Did this (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=551152) really need it's own thread? We've a thread were the results of the primaries are already being discussed on the same page. At best, on it's own this is spam.

Mods only.

Merged with Obama Obama Obama (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?p=13502260#post13502260), currently the default US election thread.

And another one (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=551031&page=3), though this one actually has some merit to it.

I apologize if I'm being a royal pain in the ass about this, but we already have one super-thread and there's no need for all these periphery threads.

Still mods only.

The previous thread I merged also had "some merit in it". Please note, if a thread's left free-standing, it's not a judgment that it has "merit". Equally, if it's merged, it's not a ruling that it's worthless.

If it's election-related and short, I'll merge it to the "Obama-plus" thread, which I'm about to retitle. If it's election-related and already long when I notice it, I'll leave it alone.

Noted. Though when I made this concerning the first one, it was nothing but pic spam. The second one had existing discussion, which is what I meant by merit.

At any rate, thanks. :)

Quick quick quick, merge it (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?p=13506188&posted=1#post13506188)!

Okay, I can't really be all 'quick quick quick,' you guys aren't paid to do this and have lives and such, but there is already a robust discussion on this very subject in the mega thread thats current and would benefit from a merge, so I'm hoping you see this soon enough to do so.

Too late, alas. But, as it's now 105 posts long and gambolling merrily in the spamfields, it's been locked. There should be enough actual discussion to help the OP make up his mind.

(There really should be a ruling on this. What authority does a non-mod have to decree who should post to a moderation thread?)

There is, and has been for multiple years. "Mods Only": Players may request that only moderators or admins respond to threads in Moderation. Players should not respond in these threads.

Screw you, would-be-mod fascist pig.

Your cast aspersions on the OP do not play well here, as you are the rulebreaker on this one.
