when god created the most perfect forum, it was decided that caretakers are needed to keep this forum serpent free.
these caretakers had to be perfect. so god created them out of the same materials he created us.
Enter the corrupter, the serpent in this Garden of Eden... the serpant, curious as to what god created, snuck into the lord's workshop and saw what he had done.
To prevent these 'Angels' from making his life Hell [pardon the pun]. The Serpent took these caretakers and mixed them into the same batch of humans that would populate this forum.
When god saw what the Serpant done, it was already too late. the Caretakers were mixed in with the General forumites and were lost... but not forever.
To find his caretakers, god needed to be sure of their Dilligence, Perfection, and Sense of Justice.
So god devised the hardests of tasks, made to test each candidates Moral Fiber, their High Intelligence, their Neverending Patience, their impeccable impartalbility, and their stunning beauty.
enter again, the serpent [yes, the idea of locking his workshop door never occured to the almighty] and into these tasks, the serpent inserted his own criteria. thus insuring that the caretakers would never be found.
so what happened? Simple. After a night of drinking, god lost the plans for his tasks, but being that he didn't want to admit it... he just picked some people out of random, told them they passed some sort of test, and gave them the title of Moderators.
or so it was written somewhere, but I forget where I read it... :D
