I know I am not a mod, but it seems he wasn't directly flaming any poster. But thats IMO.

Imperio Mexicano, he's expressing a general opinion about a mixed bag of political groupings. He's not flaming you directly. Cryptic Nightmare's spot on.

However, CN, your sig's about to be edited because it has/had a referral link, and referral links are forbidden anywhere on site, even in sigs:

To the OP, "assorted other right-wing retards" can't in any way be taken as a personal attack ("assorted" makes it plural, for one thing.) They're talking politics, if you can't take rude words directed at a political position, without taking it personally, well ... perhaps don't read the politics threads.

I mean, if someone insults your race or religion that way, maybe ... but in subjects of politics you just have to expect some bad words. "Monarchist" is a political position, it doesn't deserve extra respect because of tradition or something.

I didn't think the post itself was flaming, but the thread as a whole was quite certainly trollish. I understand that Paul's supporters are definately in the minority here, but it seemed to me like a lot of time was spent devising unsavory names for people with certain political beliefs. You were basically (well, not just you, it was a group effort) spending your time figuring out how to insult people who didn't agree with you. If DecA came back tomorrow and spammed us up with 20 Stormfront buddies about what to call the Left, you'd be up in arms and rightly so.

If you want to talk politics, the general idea is to discuss ideas and why they may be right or wrong. It was an idea the thread had some trouble executing.

EDIT: I didn't cite you for anything, FS, and I'm not particularly concerned witht he content in the post linked to above. The actions taken by me were the result of a culmination of things in that thread rather than any one particular statement by you or anyone else.
