(Pretty much, he won't debate. He posts trolling threads and then abandons them and flames those who refute his points)
It looks to me like you were baiting him though. Don't get me wrong...he certainly flames and trolls, but you weren't helping the situation.
I was not baiting him. I just said that I love reading these threads and that he needs to change his tune if he does not want each and every one of his threads going down the same path. It is an assessment I am willing to bet that most people agree with.
I probably could have gotten the same message across with better wording.

Let's look at a sequence of events, IDF.
You see a thread by another poster whom you know you clash with.
The thread is well advanced, with several strands of opinion on which you could comment.
You enter the thread with a post that flamebaits the OP and contributes nothing to the thread.
You try to carry out a conversation with him on the subject of a question you asked him two weeks ago.
Then you come to Moderation and complain about him, saying that he never learns.
Are you seeing a certain ... disconnect ... here?
Of course, there is this parallel sequence of events:
Eureka Australis posts a provocatively phrased -- trollish -- thread.
He flamebaits posters who disagree with him. They respond heatedly. He continues.
Therefore, certainly, he is rulebreaking, something that a person who has already lost one nation because of such behaviour really should have tried to avoid.
So are you.
Eureka Australis, Officially Warned for trolling and flaming.
IDF, Officially Warned for flaming and flamebaiting.
Both of you, put each other on Ignore, or just avoid interacting, or even treat each other reasonably, as most other posters on these forums manage to do, if you want to continue playing NationStates.
