While I realize that it's not a link to one of the godhatesthisandthat sites associated with the Phelps clan, the title of "Please Die Fred Phelps" seems to tread a little close to advocating someone's death - something I am pretty sure oversteps forum rules.

The rest of the thread seems pretty civil. The title is a bit of a cause for concern.

If this has already been addressed here, my bad, and I shall don a lime helmet in shame.

If I may weigh in, I have to disagree. The rules about this state that they take threats seriously and deal with threats, not wishes. What he is saying is essentially "I wish he would die." If he said "I will kill him" then it would be cause for moderator action, but as it is it's just an opinion.

The content of the thread has been fairly thoroughly discussed here (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=544981), with three mods responding. So I think you can reasonably assume that the title is okay.

And a lime helmet looks good on you, honest!
