I wasn't threatening a ban, but an experienced poster also recognizes an outright flame. It's not unusual for the response to a flame to make such a comment and I've never seen it addressed as a problem in the past. I didn't say stop it or you'll be banned. I said, hmm... flaming is gonna get you banned. As far as I know, that pretty consistently holds true. I didn't threaten to make the news, I just reported on it.

I'll accept that i should be more careful in the future, partly because you're right, and partly because I don't entirely have a choice. (I won't tell you the relative sizes of those parts.)
