This poll would have been fine except for the last option, which is "COMPLETELY FUCKING COMMUNIST". All the other options are actually fine, but this one doesn't fit the tone of the poll.

Just my opinion, but the only thing that distinguishes it from the other choices that I see is it is all in caps and has a bunch of exclamation points (oh, and the word "fucking" but that didn't even catch my attention). Other than that, it is not fundamentally different that "So neutral it's really not even funny" or "Fascist and proud of it!"

I tend to pick the communist option in polls like this and it didn't offend me at all.

But, as I say, this is just my opinion. Your mod-age may vary. :D

I don't see that it's actionable.

I see where you're coming from, and if the poll-designer had made the communist option similar in the nature to the others, there wouldn't have been a problem. The person however, didn't. Even if they had just put commie, it wouldn't have been so bad. I guess it just didn't look like it belonged.

anything in caps with an interjectory "fucking" included is comedic gold imo

Considering that we have always allowed cognitively dissonant poll options such as "No, I don't support the death penalty" "Yes, I support the death penalty" followed by the entirely unrelated option "Myrth") I don't see that it's actionable.

I'm going to agree with my associates, here.

Despite the fact that the last poll option includes an expletive, I'm not getting the impression that he's attempting to disparage communists in particular. I would have toned it down a bit if I were writing such a poll, myself, but this doesn't cross any clear lines.

If a pattern of behavior for goading communists develops from this user, then it's possible this may be revisited (I make no promises). However, as an isolated incident, this isn't actionable.
