This is because there have been many poor OOC comments towards Livria's poor roleplaying, and the entire thread appears to have collapsed into an OOC spamfest for insults against Livria's roleyplaying.

If possible, could you have a few words with Livria, Karam ja and a few of the other nations involved in poor OOC comments.

That's the general vibe I'm getting from this thread here. In content, it seems to be much like the one above, with multiple people making fun of one new player and not providing helpful criticism.

Can we please make "don't bite newbies" a rule? It gets kind of old to see thread after thread where a newbie makes his first post and then one or more large older nations jump on him for no reason.

Nationstates isn't Counterstrike and the mentality that it is should be discouraged.

It should be a matter of simple politeness. There's already enough scope in the One-Stop Rules Shop for mods to stop dogpiles and flamefests. And there are plenty of decent RPers who are willing to take the time to explain things to newcomers. It's in everybody's interests to do so.

If you think a specific rule is necessary, though, now's definitely the time to push for it. Check out this thread (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=542980) Euro's started, seeking your opinions.

Bear in mind, though, that any sort of blanket ban on nations of (more than) a specific age or post number interacting with nations of (less than) a specific age or post number wouldn't work. For one, it'd limit nations who can already RP from jumping straight in, and it'd stop nations with a bent for mentoring beginners from doing it.

For two, it'd drive the mods even crazier if we had to keep a check on who was RPing with whom.

He hasn't done anything wrong so I doubt thats an option at this point in time.
