Can one call you a drug user or a drunk boy - just to minimize your worth as a being and the worth of your posting ?

As a rule I'd say not but Nigel does have a point if all your threads and posts are taken into consideration - it's not that this has to be a serious place but just a modicum of thought is appreciated once in a while and, in my poor, irrelevant opinion, you've yet to show that.

Then again, as much as I claim, I'm no Mod but I don't think this post by Nigel warrants any punishment because, if anything, he's being helpful.

Eh, I'll leave the hair-splitting on your question to another Mod more familiar with the mores of the General forum. I'll simply delete the thread as Spam; which it is.

I'd thought that the "honestly" before that showed that I just couldn't help saying it and to some extent knew I was out of line. I'm not saying it was a joke, more one of those things that slips out.

It felt like it had to be said, and I'll take the consequences.

The Foxbat thread? Excellent thread, till some *ss started doing silly.

The Gun thread? Sure there are weak spots in that thread, but in general it's rather good.

The Usability Thread? Very positive thread.

And in general I'll answer questions around cognitive psychology.

Some people just start personal insulting.

I have been called a racist, a drug user, a drunk, a fascist, a Nazi, dumb etc...
While they have no motivations to act like that.

You can disagree, but they should leave the personal attacks.
