Any particular why I have to have my posts reviewed by a Moderator before being posted?

Yes (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=511850).

When you sign a contract, you should read the terms and conditions before you sign away - same with information about posting on boards - we moderators don't enjoy providing the same answer to every new person who comes onto these boards.

It's a function of Jolt to stop Spam messages for Viagra or letters from the Prince of Zimbabwe asking if we'd like 27 million deposited in our account for a small transaction fee.

It will stop after 10 posts, you can go and spam Jolt public forums to get over it.

You Mods can all count yourself lucky I don't carry out my threat of replying to these questions by saying they need to hit the little red triangle under their name 50 times to report the problem.

Yours, in trepidation

Your best bet is to go to the spam forum (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=29) and spam yourself up to about 10 posts.

So I can be assured that what I have posted thus far will not be lost? No, there is no assurances.

It should not get lost, this servers are extremely reliable.. just like the mail.
But, there is no assurances.. just like surgery.

BTW, about hitting 50 times the red triangle.. do not do it.. because someone may "lose" your nation in the triangle of Bermudas.. no assurances ;)

Well, if our spam filters happened to fail so we actually found out about it we would. Abusing the red triangle is a very bad idea, because it's A) utterly useless, B) bloody annoying if something goes wrong with the filters and we get an assload of automated reports, and C) it goes out to all the mods, not just we friendly, personable NS ones, so you'd best not touch it lest some wrathful demon god descend from the outer darkness and forumban you forever.

Remember: friends don't let friends abuse the red triangle button.
