The thread seems to degenerate into spam from about the third page.

Oh come on. its funny. I do not think it is spam at all.

Does it matter?
All threads eventually degenerate into spam, some just have a shorter half-life than others.

Now folks, you need to make up your minds.
First we get complaints that we're too fast on the send-to-spam button.
Now, complaints that we're not fast enough.

Yes.

It may be Confuse-a-Kat Day over that side of the world, but it's Meanday over here.

Which is why I closed the thread and sent that poor little first-time-on-the-forums poster a PM about a post count that is 90% spam, a topic that was almost certain to turn into spam, and the poster's action in dragging it back to spammishness any time it looked like turning into an actual discussion.

Not just when-mods-collide, but when-hemispheres-collide.:p
