My thread should not have been moved

There was no reason to move my "Dunder-Mifflin, this is Pam" thread from the NS General forum.

It was a thread for fans of "The Office" to discuss the show.

Anyone familiar with the show would have figured it out.

Those unfamiliar with it would have had no interest in it anyway.

Please don't assume a thread is "spam" just because you know nothing about the subject.

just a Non Mod Observation.

The entire OP is a snippet of dialogue from one episode with nothing added to it by the poster. that would probably fall under Cut and Paste spam.

Those Unfamiliar with the show may still have interest in knowing about the show. your OP doesn't offer that either.

the OP didn't invite nor open any form of discussion. perhaps a "What's your favorite Quote from The Office" or something might've been better.

remember, this is a non mod observation and stands a good chance of being wrong. :p

Links are always helpful. Normally I'd check out the thread in question, but if there's no link I don't spend the effort.

Please don't assume a mod is uninformed just because you know nothing about the mod.

Having looked at the thread, I agree with JuNii that it's cut'n'paste spam. And having looked at your join date, seems to me you've been here long enough to know better. I'm surprised you didn't figure that out without coming to Moderation.

Not the first time I've been surprised like that. I've never checked the threads subsequently to find out if the number of views boomed. I wouldn't like it if people were advertising spammy threads that way.

Thank you for the link, JuNii. It did save time. I've now disabled it.
