HAHA!! Snaf? I do not really consider those flamebaiting. Well at least the post to me at least is not flamebaiting.

You don't think telling Fass he's likely going to end up in hell counts as flaming/flamebait?

Notice the last part of my sentence.

It was a comment that seemed to have no other purpose than eliciting a negative response from a non-Christian. Not the worst thing ever, but it did seem questionable. It's for the mods to decide though.

I will agree with your last sentence :)

Link 1: No.
Link 2: No.
Link 3: Are you serious?
Link 4: I don't see it as actionable.

Erm, Ardi, while the first link about the fellatio is questionable, I'd call the rest most definitely flamebait, personally. He's trying to get a rise out of people; it's been clear from the beginning.

While I agree with Ard's assessment, I've gone ahead and made a simple post reminding everyone to stay cool: http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13141773&postcount=121

Quite the contrary -- I figure Fass would wear a post like that as a badge of honor, if he paid any attention to it at all. You seriously don't think Fass has heard orders of magnitude worse than a simple Levitican harangue?

My advice for Red Baptism:

1. IF flamebaiting deliberately:
I'd recommend he stop (naturally enough), and be more mature on the forums. But as the forums are breeding grounds for manipulative souls (Trolls...) that is not going to happen.

2. IF truly believing:
What chance do you think you have on NSG with such hardline Christianity?

Not that it would be heeded or cared about.

Please... the first two were deliberate. There is no reason to state 'oh but there is a hell' on a topic with people questioning the existence of hell other than to simply generate conflict. The second was a blatantly insulting to any homosexual men.
The third one... Many Christians on the forums (in my experience, anyway) tend to use such as 'Praying for you' (not to mention making assumptions about the nature of belief... don't even get me started) when they have no other argument.
The last one... calling anyone a rabid anti-semite is both insulting and asking for a beatdown.

Shotgun Spree!

Two moderators have already offered their assessments of the situation and have handled it in the most appropriate manner. Input after such is unnecessary.

I'm going to lock this, to prevent further discussion.
