Seeing as the joke involved me, I'd think my level of offence would be quite relevant, and I'm here to stand up for that other guy who doesn't deserve any sort of reprimand because it was neither flaming nor flamebait. It was in jest, and quite obviously so.

It read as an attempt at humor to me too. In bad taste, certainly, and Pacificville shouldn't make a habit of it.
