Although thinnly disguised its clear they mean to imply that Justice Thomas is an "Uncle Tom". I don't find this funny in the least...

I think you need to reread the first paragraph.
It's a pun on his name, Clarence Thomas, and it's in no way a "veiled racist title" -- it's pointing out the irony that Clarence Thomas is, in his opinion, a racist.
Do you understand what the connotation of "Uncle Tom" specificially means? It's not just an insulting name for a black man -- it's applied to men of color who act subservient to caucasians -- and to the best of my knowledge that definition does not apply to Clarence Thomas.

We're players with a bigger toybox than you have. We're not gods. If you disagree and have a case, we'll listen ... and we've even been known to change our minds when an argument was persuasive.
(Thanks for the pedestal, though. It looks nice in #themodcave, even though most of the time it's just GMC Military Arms using it as a place to put his PlayStation.)
