"Tort Reform" in the UN Categories [ATTN: Fris]

Since there's movement to repeal "Common Sense Act II", could someone please take a look at the definition of the "Tort Reform" area of influence in the "Advancement of Industry" category?

Fourth, Tort Reform. Removes legal barriers from anti-corporate litigation, reducing government interference in business. Guess who takes the hit when industry wins?

The second sentence is misleading. Tort reform doesn't remove barriers, it creates them. Suggest that sentence be replaced with: "Puts limits and restrictions on damage (tort) lawsuits against corporations, protecting them against frivolous and anti-corporate litigation."

Thanks.

It seems it's a combination of several factors.

1) While robust, our stat system is still limited, thus leaving some things up for interpretation. ie: Does that reduction of "government control" mean barriers to lawsuits are lifted, or does it mean that the government doesn't own the business.

2) The name "Tort Reform" was a temporary name that we, aparently, forgot to review, and it was left in.

3) While the name isn't particularly correct, the description does match (subject to problems mentioned in 1) the stat effects of the selection. So, the problem is more the name than the description.

I'm'a tacking a note to your title to get Fris' attention; he was more involved in the category creation than I was (I was rewriting the ruleset then, heh).

I'll look over the code and the post phrasing later.
