YES! Lose it. At least temporarily. It's getting to be too-much. I say we ban sexual-preference threads for at least one week.

Wait, wait? You're claiming we had free speech before?
And I didn't get around to actually using it :( (free speech that is)
or....
you could just ignore or not read the threads about sexual preference.
*shrugs* you know... it might work.

however, you can excercise your freedom of choice and NOT GO INTO THOSE THREADS!!!
like I choose not to.
just saying is all.

The problem is not having threads on sexual preference. The problem is in how people preface the thread and how they name it. Asking if you believe sexuality to be a choice or nature is fine. Saying, and Theo did "All Gays are a menace to society and should burn in hell" is a little too far. It's also a blatant flame and troll call. For those of us who can debate rationally there should not be limits on what we can debate. The rules still apply to the forums. If someone is clearly bating or flaming then the mods are there to take care of business. I don't see how banning the topics available is advantageous to anyone. This is all IMHO. For more debate on this topic let's take it to general.

I am not going into the whole subject now. The threads "X answers questions about ..." are temporarily closed. Wait till the other mods get up and we have talked about it.
