The way I read it, Edwinasia made a sarcastic comment. You took it seriously, it seems. And here was I thinking you'd replied with a corresponding degree of sarcasm, as a joke.
See, I foolishly thought that nobody would report someone for flaming when they knew they themselves had flamed worse, in the same thread. Reporting a flame is a pretty good way of ensuring a mod reads the thread concerned.
And I did do something about it. I read through 18 interminable pages of argument about American law. It was one of the politest General threads I have ever read.
Grave n idle's remark was, at worst, mildly exasperated. By way of "doing something", let me compliment him on his restraint.
I won't be half as restrained if you continue this nonsense.
