What has society come to that we have to do something like this? Honnestly, we can't just tell people "I take offense to that," we have go and blow our lid. Wonder what the mods will say, if anything.

Additionally, the thread seems to be the work of a hit and run troll. IMNMHO, nothing good can come of this.
It's been posted in by two mods, apparently it's alright, no matter how hateful and fucked up it is.

Advocating the violent death of homosexuals, and equating (as the originator of the topic did) homosexuality with pedophilia...das is gut?
Man, I sure wish I could be gay. Then people could tell me how evil I am, and how I need to be stamped out, preferably via murder.

That is SERIOUSLY messed up. Being gay and being a pedophile are two COMPLETELY different things. It's like comparing apples to oranges, then forcing your opinion on someone else. I know we're all entitled to our own opinion, but still, that doesn't mean that we can force other people to take our view of the world or die.
Don't suppose anyone remembers the Pharisees from the Bible do they? They made up over 600 rules in addition to God's 10 commandments and went around saying to everyone who disobeyed even one of those rules to tell them they wouldn't get into Heaven. Bull.

Hit and run something, that's for sure. If he continues to post one-liners with no followup, we'll probably go with the "troll" ruling. If he stays for debate, though, it becomes a different matter.
Sylvonia, this is not the place to continue the debate. The only thing under discussion in this forum is if his post breaks site rules.
