Ehhh. Doesn't add much to the conversation, but it's sort of on topic. Might as well leave it; it'll either sink again on its own, or an interesting debate will be sparked.

I know the forum seems slower, but the gravedigging is annoying me....

*knows the mods are not here to keep her from being annoyed

I don't know, is why I am asking.....I mean the forum used to be pretty fast, so seeing things a month or so old (or older) come up again, it's just weird to me. The fact that like 5 Mulitland threads were gravedug (is that the proper tense?) today in rapid action (or so it seemed) just irked me a bit.

I was going to ask what all the necromancy was about. Is it just getting close to Halloween and posters are practicing?

There are no hard and fast rules. Every case is a judgment call. I always take context and poster history (or lack thereof) into account unless it's just obvious spam.

All I can tell you is that necromancy warnings are rarely (I'm tempted to say never) recorded on nations. I've sent a few telegrams to n00bs who spent their entire first week in two-year-old threads, but that's about it.

Point being, it doesn't matter in the long run. It's just a housekeeping rule.
