It does have the undertones of a flamebait.

Here's what I think makes it a flamebait.

1 - "Fassigen"

Note that the emphasis spells out fag. The italics were in the original post.

2a - "...remain a sexual deviant for the remainder of your natural life..."

This appears to be a direct attack on Fass' sexuality.

2b - "Never, never, never have normal sex with a human female..."

A continuation of above. This is again an attack on homosexuality and a directed attack at Fass' choice to engage in gay sex. As if sex with a girl is normal... it's just as normal as sex with a human male.

This post appears to be a general attack on homosexuality as well as Fass' sexuality.

I find it faintly horrifying that nothing has been done about this yet.

This was posted two days ago, there have been several mods reading this board since then. I'm starting to wonder if it's considered acceptable to talk about Fass like that.

For the record, I don't care about what New Mitanni said because I have much thicker skin than that to be bothered or oh, so offended by the religious telling me I'm going to hell - it's not the first time (they're not known for their originality), and it most certainly won't be the last, so who gives a fuck? Just drop it.

Well, guess I'll start by slapping New Mitanni for flaming via telegram, as it's probably pointless to post in the thread at this point. I suspect it was intended as satirical flame, but it obviously failed at that mark.


As for the faint horror, how about you ask your grandmother for some smelling salts? She's probably got some locked away in her medicine cabinet still. We'll get to it when we get to it, thanks just the same.

It saved everyone from, among other things, a much longer outraged rant on my part, a blow-by-blow account of how much stuff I look up before I even let myself think about slamming anyone, a spectacularly adjectival comment on the slowness of Jolt tools, a denunciation of the Australian government's myopic telecommunications policy ...

Not to mention a descent into the darker depths of Ocker sledging.

And all this with just one pic and the laugh it gave me.
