Offensive [mods only]

I only want a moderator's opinion.
Man I just get bashed for everything! I don't like animal testing, and I yelled at because I want sick people to die...
I find this not only distasteful but offensive as well. I'm at a medical disadvantage and plagued with a terminal illness. I find his statements in extremely bad taste and it is my opinion that he deserves more than to be yelled at.
I was tempted to reply but I know I'd just say something that would make it worse so I came here to seek moderator input.

Speaking not only as a mod, but also someone suffering from a chronic (but not terminal) disease, I don't think it breaks the rules. People are entitled to their own opinions, no matter how stupid. I might add that I've often wished that stupid people would die, but thus far my wishes do not carry the force of law behind them. More's the pity.
If you don't like his arguments, debate him. Point out how ridiculous his position is and pummel him with facts and ethical principles all you want. Until he crosses the line and breaks the rules (such as openly calling for genocide and offering to lead the charge), it's just electrons on a screen.

It's actually photons on a screen.

It's actually photons on a screen.
Wouldn't said screen be emitting the aformentioned wave-particle phenomenon rather than the photons resting on the screen?

Well, to be fair, it's a image-production method/medium (be it plasma, LCD, what have you) that is generating photons that are passing through the screen and to your eyes (and the surrounding area).
Edit: Passing through the screen/being absorbed and reemitted, to be more precise, since the surface of the screen both refracts and absorbs light.

There you go. Let it all out.
Are you done with talking about physics in Moderation, and in a Mods only thread? Because I am.
