Oh, kiss off, where am I a racist, moron? Did he own the dogs, yes or no? Did he previously plead guilty to animal cruelty to 13 dogs in his possession in 2002, yes or no? Did I bring their color into it, or did YOU?

Think before you drool.

This is a rather harsh response coming from a moderator. Granted, Katganistan was clearly being baited by TPH (and perhaps action should be taken for that, be the bait deliberate or not), but she rose to it, it's only right that everyone be held to the same standard when it comes to flaming.

I haven't been slapping people for using the word "moron", unless that's all they do in multiple posts / threads. It's pretty mild in the lexicon of flaming. If I ignore the poster names, I'd see nothing there to warn over, so I don't see any reason to warn Kat either.

The definition of double standard is having different rules for different people. Kat is a player here too, and I won't enforce a higher standard simply because she's also a moderator.

this is true, once someone said something like moron or idiot to me but it was deemed "mild" and since they didn't continually do it they didn't get in trouble.

Fris is really fair. (annoyingly so)

I think the Mod status has no bearing here.
I see a logical response to a rather flippant comment. Now if Kats diatribe had continued on and on, THAT would be most uncool.
