Fass always complains about spamming/blog threads...well here he's created one of his own. It serves no purpose and is not a discussion/debate thread...just him posting his pictures.
Is a lock in order?

There was no topic presented by the Op, but I think there is now discussion going on worth keeping the topic unlocked.

I like how you first posted in the thread all debate-like before seeing German Nightmare's post several hours later and going "ZOMG! 'Tis a blog! It serves no purpose, it's just pictures! He always complains about threads like that in Moderation, which I totally know, even though I haven't been around in ages and never cared about any of that anyway, because I just read it in this post here! Why... I have an idea!"

Sure there was a topic. "This event recently happened. Have any of you been to similar?"
Whether you agree with the event or not, it's a topic, it's a big event, and one would think those who are interested in discussing it have as much right to as those interested in talking about gee, I dunno ... any number of the more or less useless topics in General that have been left open because discussion was going on.
I'd argue this is quite a bit different from the 'pity me' blog-style threads that have inspired previous reporting. I'd hate to say I sense an agenda here, but there you have it. *shrugs*

Uhm, I hope you know I just pointed that out in the thread because of the irony that it was Fass of all people posting the way he did...
I no way did I mean that to end up in moderation.
