Smunkeeville's given you the answer, but I checked the At Vote thread out anyway, because if you were being viciously browbeaten, mod action would be called for.
You're not (in that thread, anyway). The thread's on-topic, the debate's at usual UN standards, and there've been two Game mods posting on technical points who would have stomped on any excess.
Remember that some UN folk post in character (IC), and some of the characters aren't nice people. But, IC or OOC, they have to stick to the rules.
