Moderator Question
I am curious if it's allowed to ask for confirmation from game moderators if two nations are controlled by the same individual? I got rid of a pest from my region along with several of his puppets and I suspect he is using a dynamic IP since his regional forum accounts always showed inconsistent IP address codes. I banned one nation in particular to which there is now a question of if that nation was indeed controlled by the pest. I don't know what else to do but to ask the moderators. No one likes kicking innocent players. I obtained permission from them to inquire through telegram and saved it. Is it enough or no dice?

Probably should go in moderation.

The Moderators do not do this.

What I'd like to know is how a non-mod can even check IP's.

Emperor Matthuis, please refrain from declaring absolutes. We're not usually in the business of 'outing' puppets unless the case involves rulebreaking (usually 'malicious' behavior), but there can be special circumstances. This case was settled in private based on the agreement of all concerned parties, so I'll close this thread.
Finally, (and to the world in general, not just the participants in this thread)
Please stop making the assumption that IP addresses are like Social Security numbers, "a unique number for each person". They don't work that way. If you assume they do, you WILL piss people off when you lay out accusations that they're somebody else.
