We shouldn't be talking about Our Lady like that. Blessed Mary ever Virgin is exactly that "Beata Maria semper virgo." She spent her entire life a virgin, offering that up as a sacrifice for us, in union with the sacrifice of Our Lord. We shouldn't be thinking about those sorts of things in relation to Our Mother.

You wouldn't talk about your own mother's "knickers," would you? If not, then even more should we not talk about Our Lady's knickers, for she is, not only Our Mother, but the Co-Redemptrix, and the Queen of Heaven.

Virgin Mary is a mistranslation. It comes from the word virgos, which can mean virgin, or young girl, or maiden, as in an unmarried young woman, which Mary was.

The First Amendment/Article 10/section 2(b) is usually protected upon this forum, and the flaming normally gets much worse before the mods decide to intervene, especially since no harm was meant at all in this case.

Say what you want, this post is absolutely offensive to any faithful Catholic or Orthodox.

Christian or not, it was still offensive to Christians, and is therefore at the very least blasphemy, probably obscene, and also defamatory.
