What do you think? Flamebaiting/trolling, actual flaming, or am I just being too thin skinned?

It's been repeated before on another thread, but it didn't merit reporting. I wouldn't have thought so now either, besides pointing out that it was rather trollish, but now he's also spamming the thread with posts explaining why I merit this nickname, so I thought I might as well report it.

Mods only, if you don't mind.

I see 4 questions here.
1. Are threads such as "What makes christian rock music so bad?," "Popular Bands You Hate: Worst Heavy Metal Band," and "Popular Bands You Hate: Worst Punk Band" troll threads?
(Links: http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=531490 http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=527978 and http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=526630)

2. Am I trolling/flambaiting when I call them trolling in the body of said threads?

3. Am I trolling/flaming when I call Zarakon "Zark the Nark"? (The numbers speak for themselves, the issue is the appropriateness of the nickname.)

4. Am I spamming when I reply to Zarakon's responses to my previous posts?

Mods rule ;)

If a player announces he is gay, and you constantly refer to him as "that faggot", would that be flaming or trolling? Of course it would. The truth or falsity of the claim is irrelevant to the disrespectful tone being used. As far of your use of "Zark the Nark" is concerned, it ends immediately. Knock it off, now.

As to question two and four, it's not flamebaiting unless you become obnoxious about it. You seem to be willing to take it to that level, so perhaps you'll yet earn a warning for it. Trailing around after someone for the specific purpose of calling them a troll strikes me as meeting the "malicious" qualification in Max's FAQ, and that's how I'll interpret it should the need arise.

As to your links, I fail to see the relevance of them. They don't look like trolling to me.

Edit: and yes, the accused poster is allowed to respond in 'mods only' posts.

Knock it off, now.I understand that "narc" is a derogatory term. The alternatives in my vocabulary are also derogatory. "Nonmoderator-who-posts-frequently-in-Moderation" is cumbersome. Is there an acceptable term? Or are we not meant to comment upon the posting habits of others?

So the post, "I was just wondering, what makes Christian rock/christian metal/christian punk/unblack metal/etc. so bad? Is it the music, the lyrics, the general feel of it? I'm guessing it's the lyrics." wasn't "made with the aim of angering people "? Okay, sorry. My mistake.

Tell you what. You refer to him as "Zarakon", and I'll refer to you as "pedantic rules-lawyering timewaster". How's that sound to you?
