If you're giving up that means you lost, generally, so I'm not sure how him stating such in the OOC thread is flamebaiting in any sense of the word. His IC post is godmodding / bad form, not what I'd say is a flamebait especially since ignoring him outright means his post is worthless, though I'm not a mod, this is only my two cents.

Yes, good thing you made this. You dropped out of a closed IC thing. That is very bad form. I decided to post them some places so that you can learn that dropping out is bad. You lose fair and square, get over it.

I fear not. You see, by IGNORING him you give up rights to the war, and as far as he's concerned, you don't exist. Therefore, he posted that to give it a credible conclusion. An RP is a story, it has a beginning, a middle, and an End. You have to end it, thus thats all he did.
If you wish to play by the rules, then perhaps you can still continue the story. Yeah, you might lose, but there was an old saying which I believe, ironically considering its source, holds much wisdom: "Youngsters these days are afraid to take an ass whoopin'. Yeah, fightin' fair you might win some, you might lose some. But at least you show one thing: You're a man."
I believe that you can take much wisdom from this. Yeah, you might lose the war, but that doesn't mean you lose your nation. And, you can always have an insurgency. Who knows? Maybe you'll win your freedom and have a really good story. Because win or lose, its the quality of the story that really matters.
Think about that mate.
