He's making two claims: 1- that most or all of the people portrayed in the show are pedophiles and 2- That we people that dare disagree with him "have been on the show". Guess what he's implying?

Good thing I didn't write it. I have called no one dumb nor a pedophile.

It's paedophilia, a subject that enrages many, many people, as I saw when I made a thread oh paedophiles.

But from what I recall, the whole subject is banned anyway due to the ease of flamefests and the like.

Maybe the thread should be closed. I didn't mean for this flamefest to happen. I just wanted a debate about a group that was probably violating people's civil rights.

I remember that ruling too. I'm not sure if it's still in effect, though.

The ruling banning threads on pedophilia was made in specific response to a group of pro-pedophilia posters who seemed determined to turn General into a pro-pedophilia site. When a large percentage of the front page was routinely devoted to that small group promoting, and the vast majority of Generalites opposing, it became pointless to allow the same arguments over and over again. A six month ban was put in place.

Due to the almost universal illegality of the subject, we're loathe to allow any ongoing pro-pedophilia threads to start. Given that almost any thread started will have both proponents and opponents, we'd just as soon you avoid the subject entirely.



Heikoku, you of course have the ability to not accept this by walking away from the thread or the forums entirely. You do NOT have the ability to have us rule in your favor on an insinuation that doesn't really even come close to breaking the rules.

As for The_pantless_hero, assuming you're reading this thread ... players with an exceptionally abrasive posting style do not last long on these forums. You'll eventually cross the line into something that IS actionable, and when we slap you for it, you'll bitch and moan and end up getting banned ... or at least that's been my experience in about 99% of such cases.

Word to the wise: there are people who don't share your opinions who are nonetheless not idiots. Keep that in mind.
