It's times like this I REALLY wish you could delete or lock your own threads if they didn't have any posts in them. (Yes, I know, this won't happen. It would be nice, though.)

Does the smilie at the end remove the threat? I don't think so. Adding a smilie doesn't grant you the right to be abusive and threatening on our forums.

Mind you, the reported post doesn't exactly cross that line, but don't make the assumption that a smilie obviates the need to be polite. We certainly don't.
