SO i need to have more than 8 posts to automatically disable that feature?

I've heard some folks go post in the Spam forum to get past that. Otherwise yes, new accounts have to wait due to Jolt trying to prevent problematic stuff from adverts and other mass spammings to clutter up all the forums, or so it's been said. Not a NationStates issue - it's Jolt.

I thought posts in the spam forum didn't count towards your post count?

As a general note, reposting the same thread or post is not the best thing to do as it either a) causes more work to delete the duplicates or b) causes a bunch of clutter in threads. Try the patience and reading ladies and gentlemen.
