Flaming/Flamebait?

I'm not quite sure, but I believe this (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=12799545&postcount=210) constitutes flaming and/or flamebait.
Proto-Consilience referred to my character twice, as well as Rubina.

Definitely bad role playing etiquette since this person is taking over your character or making attempts to dictate your character's actions (or inactions depending on the context).
The gun smileys aren't helping matters, and the use of "dolt" as well as other words seems out of line.
As far as flamebaits go, this is rather mild, but that being said, there is no reason for this person to be acting like this. Though, I think one could take "you stupid dolt" to be a flamebait, since it sounds like it is directed at one player, even if IC. However, I think because he's referring to your character this post is in a greyish area because he's attacking your character and not you though it is in bad taste.

And you have read how many threads in the UN forum, Kryozerkia, to have become such an expert on RP conventions there?
If Flibbleites warranted this (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=12797867&postcount=178), Proto-Consilience certainly deserves to be told to take a step back, too (in my humble opinion), assuming even-handedness, of course.
Considering he has been here far longer than you, it would behoove people to assume he has read far more than you have.

A friendly word of advice:
Never assume that the date showing next to an account is the one the player started with, nor that with longevity on the forums comes automatic knowledge or wisdom. People make alternate/puppet nations all the time for various reasons, and there's plenty of folks who've been around a while who haven't bothered learning much beyond the area they play in. It can be difficult to make assumptions when you honestly may not know which incarnation of a player's imagination you're talking to. ;)

Kryozerkia's not well-known in the UN forum (at least under that handle). What flies in General, II or NS, doesn't necessarily in the UN, is, I believe, all New Vandalia was brusquely trying to convey.
(And Dread Lady Nathicana posts the same while I'm in preview. I'm not going to edit mine, so nyah.) :D

Quite correct (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=12801492&postcount=234).
And Kaldari, New Vandalia is in fact a long-term player in a new nation. We're in a position to know that. You aren't.
