UN Resolution Branding

I've read the section of the rules regarding Branding, namely:
Branding

Limited branding is allowed. "Limited" means that you may list one co-author by nation name only. Example:

"Co-authored by The Most Glorious Hack"

Further branding will result in the Proposal being deleted. Don't list everyone who posted in the thread for your draft, don't list yourself, don't list your Minister Of Making Proposals, and don't post the 'pre-title' of the co-author (ie: "The Republic Of..."). This includes creating nations that have the same name as your region or group and using them to promote your region or group.

I have a clarification question, however. The last clause says you cannot create a nation with the same name as your region/group and list it as a co-author (for example, 'Co-authored by Members of the North Pacific', where 'Members of the North Pacific' is a nation). Is it acceptable, however, to submit a UN proposal directly from a nation named for a region? This nation, for example, is 'ECC UN Authority', a legitimate UN member that I'd like to submit a resolution from. Is this acceptable?

Apologies if this has been asked before; I searched but found nothing.

There are any number of players who use a "UN Mission" nation to play and post their UN materials. If yours is such a nation, then we certainly have no problem with you submitting proposals.

If, on the other hand, you've created the nation for the express purpose of sidestepping the branding rules, that could fall under 'rules-lawyering', and I think we'd be justified in killing your proposals.

In short, the phrase "play nice" would be the applicable ruling.

Hmm; I'm not sure which side of that what I'm doing applies to. This nation that I created for my 'UN mission' is, specifically, for playing and posting UN materials, as you said in the first part. But, the reason I named the nation what I did is so its name more specifically pointed back to the region that helped write the proposal.

I don't mean to be demanding, but is there any way to rule conclusively in advance whether I can submit a UN resolution from this nation? It's exclusively mine, it's just when it came to choosing a name, I wanted to put the region's name in the name.

Fair enough. Since you're demanding an answer, here ya go.

No. It's rule-lawyering to get around the branding rules. Denied.
