I'm new at nationstates so i don't know all that goes on. If some one would care to explain to me the following.:headbang:
1.) In the UN i listed a proposal yesterday, i just checked it and now it's just gone. Another one i made do day was deleted too. Neither of these were against the rules i know this because no moderator sent me a message telling me so. I already had like 12 approvals on one (yeah lame not much but hey its a start huh?) i just would like to know why they were deleted.
2.) I also was making a proposal and (i dont know what happened really) but it sent my proposal in. I was in mid-sentence of how famililes should get a pony when i see the list of proposals pop up. Now I of course got in trouble for this (twice i believe) a spam i guess. If it happens again i don't want to get booted from the UN is there a way i could delete the proposal i made, or a way to contact a moderator to and tell them my mistake so as they could delete it for me with out me getting in trouble?
PLEASE HELP ME

Point the first: Moved to the proper forum
Point the second: Next time, wait more than five minutes for a reply.
Point the third: Give us an idea of what your Proposals were. I've deleted close to eight hundred in the past six months; I can't remember all of them.

I got two warnings for illegal proposals to the UN when I first joined. I don't know who gave them to me, but I left NationStates and didn't come back for two or three years.

I was just reminded of it when you said that. I could try and make out that it was a complaint or a witty and insightful comment if you prefer, but I'm afraid I was just thinking out aloud.
I'll stop spamming now.

[O]k[ay,] my proposal was called Down with Deforestation and it was to outlaw deforesting old forests and such. It was deleted yesterday apparently...but [yo]u still didnt answer [wh]y it was deleted[.] I would have got a warning like before if it was bad.:confused:Sometimes, when we're cleaning things out quickly, we don't give warnings.
Regardless, I would guess it was deleted for duplicating existing Resolutions. There's already a couple dealing with the deforestation issue.

In editing, Hack, you left out "got[ten]." ;)
Seriously, though, if I remember correctly, one of the problems with the proposal in question (although since I'm not a mod, I don't know if this was one of the reasons for which it was deleted) was that it was written in barely comprehensible English.

I'm sure you don't want to flame anyone in Moderation, especially the people with the pictures near their usernames cause they enforce the rules.

You are right and i'm sorry for that but i get frustrated with how....er...well how they act. I wrote in English and hence forth that isnt the reason for it being deleted. They arent answering my questions they are just critizing me. It's annoying! and i'm sorry if it isnt written in the big meaningful words that they use. okay? I'm just a teen in america! I thought this was a game but people take it soo literal and professional. All i wanted was some help, thats all i asked for is Help.

Hack has given you an official Moderation response that directly addresses your questions. What hasn't been answered to your satisfaction yet?

Unfortunately the best you're going to get here is advice.
1. Read the sticky in the UN forum about rules for proposals. That will tell you a lot about why your proposals probably got the chop, since I imagine you didn't save the text to repost it here.
2. If you want to ask a mod to do something, post in this forum. You won't get an immediate response, since they have lives, but you will get a response eventually. Provide links to whatever you're complaining about or want them to delete for you; mods aren't telepathic!
3. Neither are the rest of us, which is why writing proposals in grammatical English is important. It takes stunning incomprehensibility to get a proposal deleted for duff English, but something that's badly structured or ungrammatical isn't very likely to be read, never mind approved, purely because it's harder work to do so than most people want to bother with. It's also less likely to actually mean what you wanted it to mean, which is always a problem with a law! A proposal doesn't have to use big meaningful words, but it does have to use words meaningfully.
4. The pony proposal I do remember, and it was Too Silly To Live. I'd be shocked if it hadn't got you warned.
5. I'd strongly suggest reading the UN forum, just to see what people think is or is not a good idea in a proposal. When we aren't indulging in inter-organisational bickering, that is :-)

We've already responded to her questions twice, and Hack has three responses, one of which answered all of her questions. You don't really need to point that out as a choice.
