It's come up twice now in close succession, first in my thread on Shirley Phelps-Roper, and again in the Paris Hilton's going back to jail thread. Posters have suggested that the subjects of these threads should be raped as punishment--in my thread, the ensuing argument got some people forumbanned.
So should we perhaps add the suggestion that someone, anyone, deserves to be raped to the list of unacceptable statements? It certainly wouldn't bother me any, as I'd say rape is never acceptable conduct, and should never be considered as fitting punishment.
