From what I can tell, he probably didn't intend to flame.

Perhaps a friendly reminder might be in order, but nothing as harsh as a full on warn.

That was the last line, and I think he intended for it to be taken in jest, which wasn't quite clear after he whited the 'Don't ever change' part.
