Note that the thread title CLEARLY says "Closed" and that the poster in question was NOT invited to the thread.

Yo man, I was just asking if you were ignoring it or Not. Since it is legal, I assume you wouldn't. Just say yes or no. Jeez.

Not to mention its an OCC comment.

Check TG's. :)

Well Hataria has a reputation for stretching the truth, and we know he's in all probability use this to stretch it even more. We're just trying to keep everything fair.

Do so in TG, not in an RP thread into which you were not invited.

Well, there are even more OOC comments coming into the thread like the "CLOSED" isn't even there.

I get that Hataria's probably low priority for you guys, but there's got to be someone with a few minutes of free time to pop in. Nobody's been invited.

As I stated in another thread, our tolerance for cleanup on the constant Hataria bashing has far exceeded our interest. However, since your original request came before that statement, I've split off all the OOC stuff to a locked thread.

Siriusa, you will NOT use the Moderation forum to flame another player. Got it?

I'm sorry. I did not intend to use it as flaming, just explaining our actions, I probably worded what I was saying badly.

I know you guys are tired of the Hataria thing, but do griefing rules apply to II. It appears that people are entering his threads not in an attempt to interact with im in the spirit of the thread, but instead to upset him. Isn't that the very definition of griefing?

I recognize that Hataria has his own cats to wrangle, but couldn't much of this be avoided if people who don't like him would just mind their own threads and RP's and stayed away from his?

Were not greifing him. If we were, we would have been warned.

So, having your posts split off to a new thread and that thread being locked isn't enough of a warning for you? Fair enough.

Official Warning, griefing, The PeoplesFreedom.

So noted on your permanent record.

Edit: let's add this to the evidenceOCC: Who's interested in an official anti-Hatarian Alliance that is semi-permanent, like GASN or the SL , etc.?

Ack! What? I didn't realize this was closed. I wans't even aware, I asked him a question, and later tged..

Where is the greifing post? So I may see where I griefed.

I posted that question, then one more, said I had better stop posting, which I did, and then moved it over to TG.

Edit: let's add this to the evidence

Then, after Sirius, warned me, I said fine... So it was a mere few second before this and the warn... I later canceled... I let it go, before I even read this post.

Then Demon666 should be, since I 'beat' him to it, and Atopnia since he wanted to join...

And it was an OCC post asking who was interested, it wasn't even a formality yet.

The point I'm making here, apparently unsuccessfully, is that you don't have to be Officially Warned to get the message to knock it off.

I can't speak for any of the other mods (and I don't feel like searching), but I've posted "knock it off" warnings in Hatarian dogpile threads probably a hundred times in the last 2-3 years. If you're still not getting the message that Ignore is a better solution than a stupid-ass war that won't be acknowledged by the 'target', then obviously I need the bigger guns.

You get to be the scapegoat on this one. Sorry if you don't think that's fair, but perhaps you can use it to convince the rest of the dogpilers to knock it the fuck off. The warning stays.

Hm. In fairness to me, this was the first Hatarian war I had ever been involved in. It seems unfair that I get to be the scapegoat when there were so many of us involved... But whatever your the boss.

And, for this dogpiling... how is that illegal or against the rules? I mean, look at how many times Blackhelm has been dogpilied and such.

Learning the rules well is probably the most valuable thing you can do for yourself on this forum. Helpful tip.

Griefing: Harrassing a nation because of what they did or said. This often manifests when one player follows another around in thread after thread, abusing and flaming the target nation. Note that this is distinct from Region Griefing, covered above.

It's not about how many of you are doing it, but that you're doing it to the point that the mods have no choice but to intercede. You made it clear that you felt that the only evidence that you'd violated the rules that you'd accept was a warning.

Were not greifing him. If we were, we would have been warned.

I think everyone would love to see II go back to role-playing. It's better for you. It's better for Hat. It's better for us lurkers who love reading what you guys write. Everyone wins. A warning isn't a big deal. Keep your nose clean which is pretty darned common in the II forum and you shouldn't have to worry.

And, Joc, I already said I accepted the warning, even though I was far from the only one doing it, and some were doing it worse than me, and in much less nicer tones...
Also, I read those rules, and no where did it say that 'dog piling' is against the rules, and that happens often on the II forums.

Like I said though, I accept the warning.

I also made the misunderstanding thought that a mod would make a verbal warning to knock off a greifing before an official waring. I was wrong, and I accept that.

Against the rules or not, it seems like a huge pain in the butt for the mods to have to deal with. I don't think I've ever actually participated in a Hataria thread, but I have been watching this latest event, and so far it looks like it's involved the posting of about a dozen threads spanning a hundred pages that all end up totally imploded with multiple posters demanding mod intervention over bullying, hacking, flaming, and a pile of other complaints.

Let me tell you, if I had to clean up the latest mess that is this latest Hataria related event, I'd have broken out the warning bat, four letter words, and bolded giant text sometime last night, because goddamn I.I can be an immature crapland sometimes.

Many of us realize that this has gotten out of hand, and many of already ignored Hat. Also most of the complaints has been made from Hat, and not us.

No, it's about 50/50 between Hataria and the people who are offended by him.
