Okay. I've moved this back public with bits removed (as you can see). Anyway, we decided to give him another chance at being a contributing member. Short leash, of course, given his history, but we're willing to give him a chance. Especially since it was around four years ago that he was banned.

No, this doesn't mean that every DoS player will be welcomed back with open arms just because a couple years have gone by.

If you're going to bring Beeker back after originally deeming him DOS, don't you think that brings the potential of MORE problems than you anticipated? It strikes me as being awfully inconsistent if you're going to allow someone to return who was DOS and you're not going to restore someone who broke a rule that is no longer a rule (eg Hogsweat).

I'm not advocating the restoration of Hogsweat; I'm just pointing out what I consider to be an inconsistency in the ruling.

There's a difference between a player being declared DOS and getting one of their nations deleted.

Hogsweat was never told not to ever come back to NS, he had his nation deleted. But I'm pretty sure he's kept other nations.

Beeker was previously told, due to his actions back then, that he was no longer welcome. No new nations, no old nations, nothing.

In the end, neither will be receiving their old nations back.
